Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penilaian kinerja siswa magang di PT. Muda Kreatif masih dilakukan secara manual oleh pembimbing lapangan tanpa skema pembobotan yang sistematis, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan subjektivitas dalam evaluasi dan menghambat identifikasi siswa terbaik secara objektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web dengan menerapkan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) untuk membantu proses penilaian kinerja siswa magang secara terukur, transparan, dan terdokumentasi. Kriteria penilaian yang digunakan meliputi absensi, kedisiplinan, kemampuan penguasaan alat, dan kerja sama tim, dengan data 15 siswa magang dari dua SMK yang melaksanakan program magang tahun 2023.

Metode penelitian mencakup studi literatur, observasi proses penilaian yang berjalan, wawancara dengan pihak perusahaan, serta perancangan dan implementasi model SAW dalam sistem berbasis web. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SAW dapat menghasilkan nilai agregat yang mencerminkan kinerja siswa secara objektif dan konsisten pada setiap periode penilaian. Sistem juga menyediakan fitur penyimpanan data, visualisasi hasil penilaian, dan laporan perangkingan otomatis yang memudahkan proses pengambilan keputusan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan transparansi dan akurasi dalam evaluasi siswa magang, serta memperkuat penerapan metode SAW pada konteks penilaian kinerja di bidang pendidikan vokasi dan industri.

ABSTRACT

The performance evaluation of internship students at PT. Muda Kreatif is still carried out manually by field supervisors without a structured weighting scheme, making the assessment prone to subjectivity and inconsistent results. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to assist in evaluating the performance of internship students in a measurable, transparent, and documented manner. The evaluation criteria include attendance, discipline, technical skill mastery, and teamwork, using data from 15 vocational high school students who participated in the 2023 internship program.

The research method involves literature review, observation of the current assessment process, interviews with company representatives, and the design and implementation of a SAW-based model within a web system. The results show that applying the SAW method produces aggregate scores that objectively and consistently reflect student performance across assessment periods. The system also provides data storage, performance visualization, and automated ranking reports, facilitating decision-making processes. Therefore, this study contributes to improving transparency and accuracy in internship performance evaluation and reinforces the applicability of the SAW method in vocational education and industrial contexts.
